6 toed Leonardo Dicatrio

Cat's Name:

Lenny was born in the Animal Hospital I worked in. His mom was a feral that was trapped & brought in to deliver her kittens. I loved him form the minuet I saw him. He is a big orange boy with 6 toes on all his paws. He was named Lenny to complete the set. I had a Laverne, Shirley & a Squiggy. I stated call him Leonardo (his formal name) & then it just morfed into Leonardo DiCatrio.

I was so amazed by your

I was so amazed by your beautiful kitty, and what a lovely & sophisticated name.I have seventeen cats at last count.I only have three that I actually picked.really, two, the third one showed up in one of my trees and all the other "outside cats" chased it every time it tried to come down.but when I would feed them the "tree cat" would literally scream at me to FEED ME TOO!!!!..we tried to reach up some food on a ladder but the other cats would climb the tree and chase the kitten up further, then my husband built a ledge on the tree and the kitten would get just a few bites of food and a few sips of water before the other cats would get there & chase him up...this kitten lived in the tree for three weeks, until one night it was forcast to be 10 degrees. All I could picture in my mind was a frozen little kitten on the ground that had tried so hard to live...So this time when it came to the ledge I grabbed it around the middle, and it's head went spinning one way, and its bottom went spinning the other way and I screamed to my husband, OPEN THE DOOR!!!!..I got it in the house and put it in the bathroom (I have two inside/outside cats in the house)..the kitten stayed in the bathroom closet for three weeks only coming out now and then to let us touch her before running back in...I fed her there and her littler box was there and she did fine...finally after three or four weeks, she would come and look out of the bathroom door, and run back in if we came near or if she saw our other cats. That was about six months ago, and now she rules our entire home including the other cats who are older...they lumber around kind of slowing and Zacheaus races past them up the walls and across the ceilings, we think she became part squirrel while in the tree..We have no idea to this day where she came from...My other two cats still go in and out as they please and she looks out the window, but has never once wanted to go back outside....We love her so much, she demanded her life and we are so blessed to have her...
