We were given a pure breed Persian a few years ago and he quickly became part of our family. My husband, who when I met him said that there would be absolutely no house pets, met this cat and fell in love. Our vet said that his face was more inverted than most Persians. His nose was virtually non- existent. His face seemed to be "smooshed" in further than the common Persian. So not only did he warm the hearts of every family member and became our house cat he was adopted into our home as "Smooshy" or "Smoosh" for short.
