Skeeters rescue...from a neglected kitten to a handsome man

was rescued six years ago from the side of the road,one rainy night in Maine .He was pure black cold to the bone wet, full of fleas and under nourished.He reminded me of a black spider so we called him skeeter bug. First thing we did was to give him a bath, I remember wondering if he was old enough to use flea shampoo on him, he was so small. The next day we took him to the vet I was so shocked to find out he was almost a year old,how could this be he was so small i was thinking he was only weeks old.
