Russell and his kids, Kitty, Purry, and Morrissey

In our neighborhood's feral cat colony, we have many gray cats with varying degrees of tabby markings. The old, battle-scarred "daddy cat" in the colony is solid gray, and we have named him "Russell" after Russell Brand. We decided to do this after we named 3 gray tabby teenage siblings "Kitty" and "Purry" and "Morrissey." (Singer Katy Perry's female cat is "Kitty Purry," and ex-husband Russell Brand has a male cat named after British singer Morrissey.) In our trio, the female is "Kitty" and one of the males is "Purry," and the other male is "Morrissey." (Our Morrissey has a clearer tabby pattern that reminds us of the markings on "Morris the Cat," so we use this to tell him apart from his similar brother and sister.)
