From Italian to Siamese
Cat's Name:
My cat's previous owner called him Luigi after her boyfriend. Since the cat was definitely not Italian I decided to change his name to something more appropriate for a Siamese while still keeping the sound the same so he wouldn't have to learn a completely new name. So I dropped the "lu" and kept the "wee-gee" and spelled it Oiuja.
