Meeting Neko!!!!

I wanted a name for my boy that was different. My last cat, a female calico named Picasso was with me for over 19 human years and it broke my heart when it came to letting her go. When the time came to allow another cat into my life I initially looked at Neko's sister a tiny black and white kitten but she had a mind of her own and didn't want anything to do with me. Neko however came and said hello and stayed by my side the whole time I was there. My friend wasn't going to give Godzilla (the kids named him at first) away at that point and my heart was torn. By the end of my visit he did come home with me and I named him Neko which is Japanese for, funny enough, cat. There is a kanji which is a Japanese character for Neko for him and all. He is a partly fluffy (especially what I call his mane and his tail) black cat with a white splotch under his chin and white on all four paws. The vet and ladies at the vet clinic where we go we're very correct when they said I will know the right time to get another cat and that it won't be up to me - he will choose you!

So I went from being interested in the black and white female to a predominantly black fluffy male - that's Neko's story.
