I found a kitten in a department store parking lot. She was a mangy, dirty little thing with her fur sticking up in all directions and she had a bit of an attitude. In all she had the appearance of an unraveled sweater. The word MANKY popped into mind then when she took a swing on one of our other cats I laughed and called her a MANKY BEAST. It fit so we played with the named and came up with MANKI LeBETE: My mangy beast. She has since filled into a beautiful and loving cat.
