How Isabella got her name

Some years ago, my husband (who doesn't like cats nearly as well as I do) knew I was having a hard time deciding on a good name for the beautiful Himalayan kitten I had just acquired. (A Himalayan has a mixture of Persian and Siamese ancestry.) He had just heard of a celebrity whose cat was named "Isabella" -- so he came into the room where my cat and I were "visiting" and said he thought Isabella would be a good name for her. That has been 15 years ago, and Isabella has been "the queen" ever since.
