Feathers to Fur
Cat's Name:
When I adopted my 12 yr old cat from a rescue centre she was named Anna.
After she settled in and got to trust me more she confessed she had never really liked her name so we set about thinking up a new one which suited her character more.
We eventually settled on Furry McGraw, based on the penguin 'Feathers McGraw' in Wallace and Gromit - The wrong Trousers. She has a similar prescence to the penguin, looks a bit sinister, she took over my dog's bed (Poodle-Dog, a black lab x collie but that's another story) and generally appeared menacing.
Anyway, she really likes being called Furry.
