Pegas for strong white male

Pegas is the root of the name Pegasus, meaning strong white male in Greek. The vet told me that he usually didn't allow adoptions of white cats because of their proclivity for disease and ailments. But, my little guy had a terrific purr so he thought he'd be a good animal. I had to find a name that matched him. This was it!

Pegas was diagnosed with allergies, hypertrophic heart disease and had a number of run-ins with other cats; but his spirit was so strong, he lived until he was 16 1/2 years old. The BEST cat I ever have had the privilege to live with--and we've had many over 45 years. I still miss him.
