We adopted Whiskers (formerly Omar) after his elderly owners could no longer care for him. Well, considering the current climate in the world today, you can guess the depth of my family's nose-wrinkle when I told them his name was Omar. My 4-year-old son was seconded by 3-year-old daughter and husband when the name Whiskers was offered. We tried it out and found that it most certainly suited his mischievous personality.
