Six years ago, when I retired, I moved to Mexico with my Seal Point Siamese cat, SUKI, and my Chocolate Color Pointed Ragdoll, TAJ...Volunteering at the local Animal Shelter, I was assigned to the "kitten cage" to help socialize kittens to ready them for adoption...While there, I was adopted by a beautiful female Lynx Point Siamese kitten...she was persistant. The next day I returned and she begged and pleaded with me to take her home...I adopted her, a beautiful, healthy, affectionate, 8 week old baby. I named her TONCHI, which means "Kitty" in the local native Mexican Indian language, Naguatl. TONCHI is now just over 1 1/2 yrs old, knows her name, is spayed and when she wants attention she puts her paws on my knee and raises one paw, tapping my arm letting me know that its time to get off the computer!!!
