I had recently lost a cat, and was quite upset about it. (Having cats all my life, I get very attached to all of them.)
Six years ago, on Halloween night, I was at home, searching through the newspaper for shelters that had cats, or just people that needed to relocate their kitty. It was approx 6p.m.
All of a sudden, in a experience that could have come from the twilight zone, I had an overwhelming urge to get up, and go outside to the park that was next door to the condo. I did not know why I had this feeling, but my inner voice just kept saying, keep going, keep going, and then stop. Whatever force that was guiding me, was very adamant that I go no further, as my feet at that exact moment seemed to be glued to the ground.
I was then "told" to look down....where, hidden among the brown leafless bushes, was a tiny kitten, looking right back at me ! As I knelt down, it came out of the bushes, crawled into my coat, and began purring, as if it had known me all my life.
I took her home, found no identification(the vet saw none either), and to this day we are best friends. I figured since I found her on Halloween night, that SPOOKY would be a great name.
