Simone, Queen of the House

We got Simone from the City pound when she was 6 weeks old, in January 1993. She was a dark Tabby and always a house cat, never going outside except for her annual ride to the vet. Just my husband and I live in the house so she had no respect for grandkids, ages 2 and 5, who came along way after she had claimed the house for her own. She was always an active cat but she was 19 years and 3 months old when she begain failing this past March and after 3 days we had to have her put down. That was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I miss Simone so much and love her. She is buried in our back yard so she is again near us.
