Our cat showed up on the porch one day at my daughter's college apartment on an afternoon in late October, with no collar or identification. She brought it into her home, and posted flyers trying to find his owners, without success. He's orange and white, with a bullseye one both sides, but no remarkable 'M'. Unfortunately, no one claimed this cat, but he is so well behaved and cuddly, he must have been raised by a loving family. My daughter's roommate became allergic after a couple weeks, and my daughter begged us to take him in, until we could find a permanent home. (We already have two dogs and one cat). Well, he's absolutely wonderful, and so relaxed, and very comfortable and playful around our big dogs and cat. So, he's ours permanently. Pun'kin is his name, since he's orange and adopted my daughter just before Halloween.
