From Sweet Pea to Pico de Gato

Pico de Gato was plucked as a kitten from a tree in Cuchara, CO while we were on summer vacation. He started out as Sweet Pea because he was such a pretty a fluffy kitten. Since he was a rescue found on a family vacation, I took him to our vet upon our return to be told she was really a he. The name change was quick and was between Hairy Winston (he has a luxurious coat) and Pico de Gato. He is the most lovable, gregarious cat I have ever had and has allowed us to share a home with him for 12 years. He loves water and carries his prized toys from room to room and can be found in his food bowl on a regular basis.

Pico won out and it is the perfect name for him, especially when you say his entire name with gusto!
