Pete The Cat
Cat's Name:
Pete was a name in the children's book series Hank The Cowdog.Our dog is named Hank, so when trying to decide on a fitting name we discovered Pete was as devious and teasing as Pete the cat in the stories of Hank The Cowdog.
Over the past 7 yrs. Hank and Pete wrestle and chase each other like brothers, but when Pete has had enough he climbs up the tall elm tree by the back porch and on to the tin roof to hang over the side and really give Hank the torture treatment. Hank can't reach him and that's just the way Pete likes it. We love our frisky Pete. He is one out of a liter we kept after mommy kitty surprised us after her rescue from abandonment.
