The Mousehole Cat!

Mowzer was originally named "Winkie" - I'm assuming because she winked? I am disabled and my partner had been able to stay home to look after me but things had changed and now I was going to be spending long periods of time alone so we decided to go to look at the Animal rescue near our home. we saw her on their website and fell in love - her name is from the lovely book "The Mousehole Cat" Do yourself a favor - look it up - it's a Christmas story - So lovely. about a cat and her human. I read it to my kids, every christmas - it's about a town in Cornwall England - full of cats - a real place! Anyway, that's Mowzer. she turned out to be a Turkish Angora - yes! A pedigree cat at a rescue. She is such a lovely cat - so friendly and so beautiful - we have no idea how we got SO lucky!
