She was just Molly when she came to us as a kitten...but getting to know her this is the name that just spoke to us. She is very talkative...thus the nickname 'Meowly'.

I've had 3 cats and I'm about to adopt another one. My first cat was called plonk, because when he was a kitten and he tried to stand up, he just " plonk " back down. The next one was Alfie. There was no reason behind Alfie, it was just the first name that popped into my head, because he was so quiet and gentle. The 3rd one was Molly, which is Feench for crazy, and Molly was sooooooo crazy. The one I'm adopting I'm thinking about calling dash, because she's pretty speedy, and when I met her and tried to pick her up shed quickly leap back down and run away.
I personally beleive a cats name has to have reason, something that explains it's personality.
