Gabby vs. Mei Mei

I recently rescued a Siamese cat from the SPCA. She came with a cute name but I found that when people asked me what her name was I would always have to stop and think about it so I decided that she should have a name that I picked. Her name was simple enough but too simple for me and didn't truly make her mine until I named her myself. The name Gabby came up because as everyone who has a Siamese cat knows, they like to gab loud and often. I thought it sounded right but after thinking a little longer that wasn't truly what I wanted. Looking at names on the internet didn't work so I took some names and put them together. The only name that fit for me was a repeat name, Mei Mei. She looks like a Mei Mei to me. The way it is prounced is May May.
