The Origin of Cosmo's Name

Well, I named him when I was a little kid, and my fav tv show was the "Fairly Odd Parents".I had been talking for years about adopting a kitten, I used to and still adore cats, but my parents didn't have the money at the time.My dad had just carefully brought in a lamp box, and he was being very gentle with it, so I figured it was just so that the lamp didn't break. Then, he set in on the couch, called my mom up from the basement and reached into the box. When he pulled his hands out, he ws holding an adorably fluffy little gray kitten with bright green eyes. I instantly thought of Cosmo from the Fairly Odd Parents whose always wearing green and has green hair and eyes. My dad was also a sci-fi fan, so the name Cosmo was something we both agreed on completely. Ever since then, me and him have been best friends. Today,he's an indoor cat with soft thick gray fur and stunningly green eyes and a crippled ear. The ear is from a surgery he had to get to drain excess liquid from his ear because he shook his head too much and ruptured a blood vessel inside his ear, ouch! Even though my dad is the one who found Cosmo originally, Cosmo is terrified of him and my dad just doesn't like him. He's not really a cat person, I guess.
