Cat Ballou.....my beautiful gun slinging, show girl kitty catty.....

The first time l ever saw "Cat Ballou" she was absolutely tiny.
But she was also the prettiest, liveliest, noisiest kitten amongst all her brothers and sisters.
She looked very different from them too, she alone had perfect patterns of tabby on her head, on her tail and on her back legs.
Altogether these markings resembled a gorgeous showgirls outfit, the head-dress, stockings and a bustle. She was so pretty, with clear green eyes outlined with what looked black khol, white ears that were soft pink in the middle, a pink nose and with the rest of her fur being pure white.
She was so pretty I named her after the beautiful gun slinging show girl Jane Fonda character in the 1970's western film "Cat Ballou".
I would sing the films title song to her....."Cat Ballou, Cat Ballou oo oo she's mean and evil through and through ....""Cat Ballou, Cat Ballou oo oo she's mean and evil through and through ...."
Of course she wasn't mean or evil....only when she bought in birds, mice and rats, then let them run or fly all around the house....madly chasing after them....and miaowing with excitement for us to come and see them.
Cat Ballou lived with us for 17 and 3/4 happy years. We loved her, and she loved us too.
