"slat" is not a name for a gorgeous cat
Cat's Name:
We found this 8 months old Birman at a shelter. My daughter wanted to name it "Latte" as she was fond of coffee drinks. As that word in German means a cheap piece of wood like a slat in a fence I vetoed this but suggested "Capucchino" because of the cat's coloring: light brown with dark brown points (coffee), white feet (milk) and blue eyes like my daughter's. The cat is now 15 years old.
