Beautiful Flower.

On my 12th birthday I dont remember when there wasn't a time when I didn't ask my parents for a cat. I remember walking back from an event with my family when I was much younger, (around the age of 6) and being tired and hungry and grumpy as any child would be walking back home this way. As we continued to walk and I continued to complain, I saw something that completely changed my mood. A cat. From that day on I started BEGGING my parents for the one thing I wanted the most. A cat. At a young age I was in love with orange tabby's, now I love every single kind of cat. When finally my lucky day came I persuaded my parents to get me a cat and they finally agreed. My excitement was imaginable. I started shopping online for my cat, looking at different kinds of cat food, which was the healthiest and the one cats loved most, I started cleaning my room and making spots for my cat to sleep in. The lucky day came when we found a man on craigslist, who was giving his calico cat Olga away because he was moving and getting married and, his fiance was allergic to cats. Sucks for her. We finally visited the mans apartment, which was only a one floor apartment, a tiny space for the kitchen and his bedroom, and a little laundry room, and a bathroom. I found Olga, yet she was not as I had imagined her to be. Olga was an extremely overweight cat, who looked grumpy and not happy at all. She wouldn't come near me. The first thought that popped into my mind was "THIS is the cat I'm taking home with me?" and then I thought " She may be fat, but she still is a cat and I plan to make her life happier and healthier, I know it will take time for her to trust me, but she's worth it in the end."

A few years have passed and Olga has lost weight and has turned into a beautiful, wonderful, hyper little angel. I changed her name to Belle because I think it fits her perfectly. She has blossomed into a flower, a beautiful flower.
